By accessing, browsing, or using www.storyexp.com (“Website”), submitting an enquiry through any form or communication channel available on the Website, or otherwise engaging with any material, information, content, or communication hosted herein, you acknowledge and agree that you have read, understood, and consented to be bound by the terms contained in this Agreement. This Agreement is entered into between you, the User of this Website (“You”, “Your”, “User”).

STORYEXPERIENCES PRIVATE LIMITED (hereinafter referred to as “Story”, “Company”, “we”, “our” or “us”), the owner and operator of the Website. The terms set out herein regulate your access to and use of the Website, which has been developed and maintained solely for the purpose of providing information regarding Story’s professional services, including without limitation corporate event management, Meetings–Incentives–Conferences & Exhibitions (MICE) solutions, loyalty and incentive program design, brand engagement and activation services, the creation of experience centres, workspace design and fit-out solutions, and such other related services as the Company may offer from time to time. The Website is not intended to function as an e-commerce portal, booking engine, marketplace, fulfilment service, membership platform, or online contracting mechanism, and nothing contained on the Website shall, by itself, constitute an offer capable of acceptance or create any contractual, commercial, agency, representative, partnership, or fiduciary relationship between you and the Company. 

These terms sets out in clear and comprehensive detail the rights, responsibilities, obligations, undertakings, and limitations governing the relationship between you and the Company with respect to your use of the Website. It describes the scope of permissible use, intellectual property protections, disclaimers, exclusions of liability, data usage practices, mechanisms for electronic communication, grievance redressal modalities, and the procedure for dispute resolution. If you do not agree with any of these terms, or if you do not wish to be bound by these Terms in whole or in part, you must immediately discontinue all access to and use of the Website, and refrain from submitting any information through it. 

By visiting the Website, contacting us through the Website, or seeking to engage with any of the informational materials available herein, you affirm that your use of the Website is subject to your express acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all individuals, visitors, entities, representatives, clients, prospective clients, or any other persons who access or interact with the Website or with any communication or content originating from the Website, regardless of the nature, frequency, or purpose of such access. References to “Website”, “platform”, or “site” in this Agreement shall be construed as references solely to www.storyexp.com and all content, pages, servers, and sub-domains associated with it, and may be used interchangeably herein. 

These Terms constitute an electronic record within the meaning of the Information Technology Act, 2000, the rules framed thereunder, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and therefore, do not require any signatures. Your continued use of the Website shall be deemed to constitute conclusive acceptance of these Terms. 

Definitions 

For the purposes of these Terms, the following expressions shall have the meanings assigned to them below, unless the context otherwise requires: 

  1. “Agreement” means these Terms & Conditions of Use, including any amendments or updates made by Story from time to time. 
  2. “Content” means all text, graphics, images, photographs, videos, design concepts, layouts, case studies, data, and other material made available on or through the Website. 
  3. “Services” refers to the professional services provided by Story as described on the Website, including corporate event management, MICE solutions, loyalty and incentive program development, brand engagement, experience centres, workspace design solutions, and any related services the Company may offer. 
  4. “Personal Data” means any data relating to an identified or identifiable individual that is submitted or otherwise provided by a User through the Website, and processed by Story in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. 
  5. “Privacy Policy” means the privacy policy published on the Website, outlining the manner in which Personal Data is collected, processed, stored, and used by Story. 
  6. “User Submissions” means any information, communication, message, query, suggestion, or material voluntarily submitted by a User through the Website or any of its contact forms. 
  7. “Applicable Law” means all laws, rules, regulations, notifications, and guidelines in force in India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. 
  8. “Force Majeure Event” means any event beyond the reasonable control of Story, including natural disasters, government actions, labour unrest, pandemics, war, cyber-attacks, server failures, or other events making performance impossible or impracticable. 

Nature of website and services 

The Website is intended solely to provide information regarding Story’s professional services, which include but are not limited to corporate event management, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) solutions, loyalty and incentive program development, brand engagement and activation services, the development of experience centres, and workspace design solutions. The Website functions exclusively as an informational and communication platform that enables Users to understand Story’s capabilities and, where desired, initiate contact with the Company through the contact form. The Website does not operate as a marketplace, booking engine, e-commerce portal, order fulfilment system, membership platform, or payment gateway. Nothing on the Website shall be construed as an offer capable of acceptance or as creating any contractual relationship between the User and the Company. Any commercial engagement between Story and any User shall arise only upon execution of a formal written agreement, proposal, work order, or contract executed separately between the parties. 

User Eligibility and Conduct 

The Website may be accessed and used only by persons competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Users below the age of eighteen may use the Website only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By accessing the Website, You represent that You will comply with all applicable laws and that You will use the Website solely for lawful and legitimate purposes. You further agree not to engage in any activity that could harm, disrupt, impair, or interfere with the Website or its functioning, including but not limited to attempts to gain unauthorized access to any systems, networks, data, or servers connected to the Website, or the introduction of viruses, malware, bots, scraping tools, or harmful software. You shall not upload, transmit, or disseminate any content that is false, misleading, unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, infringing, or otherwise objectionable, nor shall You impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent Your affiliation with any person or entity. Any misuse of the Website may result in immediate restriction of access and may expose You to civil or criminal liability. 

Disclaimer and Limitation of Responsibility 

The Website, including all information, descriptions, case studies, design representations, visuals, creative concepts, experiential examples, content, and materials available therein, is provided strictly on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. Story disclaims any and all warranties relating to accuracy, completeness, relevance, reliability, non-infringement, satisfactory quality, merchantability, or fitness for any particular purpose. The Website is intended only to provide a general understanding of Story’s services, and You acknowledge that any reliance on representations, descriptions, or examples displayed on the Website shall be entirely at Your own risk. Story does not guarantee the availability, continuity, or uninterrupted operation of the Website and shall not be responsible for any damage, loss, or liability arising from Website downtime, delays, server errors, interruptions, data inaccuracies, or technical malfunctions. 

Intellectual Property Rights 

All rights, title, and interest in the Website, including without limitation all content, text, graphics, photographs, images, videos, audiovisual material, creative concepts, event design ideas, experiential layouts, experience centre mock-ups, workspace design sketches, user interface elements, software, compilations, scripts, trade dress, and other intellectual property, are owned exclusively by Story or its licensors, and are protected under the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trademarks Act, 1999, international treaties, and other applicable laws. Nothing contained on the Website shall be construed as conferring upon any User any license or right, whether expressly, implicitly, or otherwise, to use or reproduce any intellectual property displayed therein without the prior written consent of Story. You shall not copy, distribute, adapt, store, transmit, publish, translate, decompile, extract, or create derivative works based on any part of the Website or its content. Any unauthorized use constitutes infringement and may result in civil or criminal proceedings. Any third party IP which does not belong to Story shall vest with the respective third party as per law.  

Privacy and Data Protection 

Your interaction with the Website and submission of information through contact forms is governed by the Story Privacy Policy, which is fully compliant with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. By submitting any personal data through the Website, You consent to Story’s processing, storage, and use of such data for the purposes of responding to Your inquiries, communicating with You, or evaluating Your requests. You further consent to receiving communications from Story through email, telephone, SMS, WhatsApp, or other channels. If You do not agree with the terms of the Privacy Policy or do not wish for Your data to be processed, You must refrain from using the Website. Story shall not be responsible for any incorrect or incomplete information provided by the User. 

Limited License and Manner of Use 

Subject to continued compliance with these Terms, Story grants You a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Website for personal, informational purposes only. This limited license does not permit You to commercially exploit the Website or its content, download (other than caching), copy, modify, resell, frame, deep-link, mirror, or otherwise use the Website for any unauthorized purposes. You agree that You shall not portray Story, its directors, employees, affiliates, or services in a false, misleading, derogatory, or defamatory manner, and shall not reproduce or misuse Story’s trademarks, logos, or proprietary indicia without written consent. User Submissions, Objectionable Content, and Reporting 

If You submit any information, suggestions, communications, or other material through the Website, You acknowledge that such submissions are non-confidential and may be used by Story for legitimate business purposes. Story assumes no responsibility for monitoring third-party content or User submissions and shall not be liable for any content that may be inaccurate, unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. However, should You believe that any content displayed on the Website violates applicable law, infringes intellectual property rights, threatens public order, or is otherwise objectionable, You may notify the Company at legal@storyexp.com. Indemnity 

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Story, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, and representatives from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, penalties, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to Your use of the Website, Your breach of these Terms, Your violation of any applicable law, or Your infringement of any third-party rights. This indemnity shall survive the termination of Your use of the Website and will be in perpetuity. 

Limitation of Liability 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Story shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, exemplary, or special damages whatsoever, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business, loss of goodwill, loss of data, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to the use or inability to use the Website, reliance on any information contained therein, third-party interactions, vendor or venue actions, travel delays, logistics disruptions, or any event-related issues. Story’s total cumulative liability arising out of or relating to use of the Website shall not exceed INR 1,000. For avoidance of doubt, Story’s liability for any services rendered to clients shall be governed exclusively by written agreements executed with such clients, and nothing in these Terms shall alter or expand such contractual limitations. 

Communication and Notices 

By accessing the Website, You consent to receive communications from Story electronically, whether through email, SMS, telephone calls, WhatsApp messages, system notifications, or by notices posted on the Website. Any legal notices intended for Story must be sent at legal@storyexp.com, and hard-copy notices, where required, shall be delivered to the corporate address. All legal notices must be in writing, properly addressed, pre-paid, and sent by post, courier, or delivered personally. All notices shall be deemed to be effective only upon actual receipt by Story. 

Modifications and Amendments

Story reserves the right to amend, modify, supplement, or update these Terms, the Website design, content, policies, or any part thereof at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Website after such modifications constitutes Your deemed acceptance of the revised Terms. Users are encouraged to periodically review the Terms to remain informed of changes. 

Force Majeure 

Story shall not be liable for any delay, failure, or interruption in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, fire, floods, earthquakes, pandemics, epidemics, war, terrorism, strikes, labour disputes, civil disturbances, government restrictions, regulatory actions, cyber-attacks, server failures, network outages, or any event that renders performance impossible or commercially impracticable. 

Waiver 

If you breach these terms and we take no action, that shall not be considered as a waiver of our right to taka future action and we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you further breach these conditions or at a later date at our sole discretion. 

Governing Law, Jurisdiction, and Dispute Resolution 

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Website shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through negotiations. Failing such amicable settlement, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator mutually appointed by the parties, the seat and venue of arbitration shall be New Delhi, and the proceedings shall be conducted exclusively in English. Subject to the foregoing, the courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all matters arising in relation to these Terms. 

Grievance Redressal 

Any concerns, grievances, or complaints relating to the use of the Website, the processing of personal data, or these Terms may be reported to the Company by writing to us at legal@storyexp.com. All such communications must clearly set out the nature of the grievance, the relevant facts, and your contact information. The Company shall make reasonable efforts to address and resolve such grievances within a reasonable time.

 For MICE/corporate travel/services arranged by or through STORY:
  • Travel & visas: Eligibility, documentation, health requirements, and immigration decisions are outside our control. You are responsible for complying with applicable rules and timelines.
  • Operational changes: Venues, vendors, itineraries, and schedules may change due to availability, safety, weather, government orders, or force majeure. We will use reasonable efforts to provide suitable alternatives.
  • Insurance: We recommend appropriate travel, medical, and event insurance coverage.

Specific booking terms, inclusions/exclusions, payment schedules, and cancellation policies will be defined in your service agreement/booking confirmation.
